Angela Lubinecky

"I am a visual artist shaped by a multicultural upbringing in East Africa, where I was raised in a diverse expatriate community rich in cultural exchange. That early exposure to a wide range of traditions, aesthetics, and perspectives continues to influence my creative process today. My work draws inspiration from the bold colors and dynamic patterns of Ugandan batiks, as well as the organic repetition found in nature - especially the movement and fluidity of water. Color is the foundation of my practice; I gravitate toward bright, vivid palettes that reflect the energy, joy, and optimism that have always defined my worldview. Through my art, I aim to create immersive, uplifting experiences that evoke a sense of freedom and possibility. Each piece is an invitation to step into a more vibrant, inclusive space - one free from prejudice and full of life. Ultimately, my work is a reflection of my family's adventurous spirit and our embrace of all that life has to offer."
