Overview
Learning to draw begins with learning to see. This five session beginners drawing course teaches you how to see. You will also learn techniques that turn complex objects into understandable and manageable images that come alive on paper. You will learn - Observation techniques - Contour drawing - Proportion and measurement - Perspective basics - Shading and value - Composition fundamentals You will create - A journal of drawing exercises documenting each technique - Still-life drawing emphasizing shading, value, and volume - Contoured life drawing series
