Overview
Inspired by naturalists, artists, and explorers, you are invited to slow down and discover the beauty found in everyday surroundings—from backyard gardens to local parks and landscapes. This day long plein-air class will rejuvenate you and time will stand still so you can catch up. No artistic experience is required. The goal is not perfection; it is learning to experience. You will learn - Observation drawing techniques - Sketching plants, insects, and landscapes - Basic watercolor techniques - Recording observations through writing - Creating visual notes and diagrams - Developing a personal journaling style You will complete - Personal nature journal with botanical sketches and writings
